However, the appearance of laser cutting technology has changed the current disadvantageous situation. More and more processing enterprises began to choose laser cutting round hole. The machining section is smooth, the diameter can be changed at any time, the operation flexibility is high. But modern processing methods, need skilled operators, improper operation will lead to irregular round holes.
1. It may be that the light intensity is not adjusted well, resulting in no overlap at the ends. Generally speaking, the difference between high and low light intensity should not be more than 5%, and the speed should not be set too fast. If it is too fast, the frame may be skipped and the results will not overlap.
2. Then look at the hardware: whether there is a problem with the beam, lens, nozzle, etc.
3. Check whether the fixing of servo motor or cutting head is loose.
4. The air pressure is not appropriate.
In the process of blowing, the pressure is too small, the edge will produce slag scraping and carbonization, the pressure is too high, easy to blow holes. Therefore, this requires the cooperation of process proofing engineers and machines, and the right air pressure can be selected by experience to make the round hole more full.
5. The round hole is too small
The scheme of laser cutting machine cutting round hole is that the ratio of round hole is 1:1, that is, the ratio of aperture and plate thickness is 1:1. Of course, the larger the aperture, the easier it is to cut high-quality round holes. Otherwise, in the case of insufficient energy of fiber laser cutting machine, small holes are easy to be cut out of the phenomenon of residual breakpoints and circular holes.
6. Servo motor parameters are wrong.
Sometimes the circular holes will be elliptical or irregular in shape, which is related to the motion mismatch of the XY axis. The direct cause of X and Y axis movement mismatch is improper adjustment of servo motor parameters. Therefore, the quality of cutting round holes also has requirements on the servo motor.
7. Precision error of guide rail and lead screw
If the parameter error of the servo motor affects the cutting quality, then the precision error of the guide rail and lead screw will directly cause the precision of the round hole to be less than expected. This is related to the strength of laser cutting machine manufacturers. Usually some small factories will lie to customers that the precision of laser cutting machine can reach 0.1mm, but in fact, in the actual operation process, the quality and effect of laser drilling will be poor, affecting the added value of the product.
These parameters are used to identify whether the precision, speed and other parameters of cutting round holes meet the requirements of the standard, enough to identify whether the quality of the laser cutting machine is qualified. So keep your eyes peeled when buying a laser cutter.
Four factors affecting the precision of optical fiber cutting laser cutting machine
